According to the official website, www.nerdtechweekend.info:
“NerdTech Weekend is a chance for Nerds from all over the world to come together in one place for knowledge sharing and to connect with other Nerds. Perhaps the first Nerds On Site “unconference,” NerdTech is being put together by Nerds, for Nerds. It will be a Nerd-to-Nerd information exchange about what technology we can offer our clients to benefit both their businesses and our businesses.
In true unconference fashion, anyone can lead a session, whether it’s on the official schedule or a spontaneous breakout session generated by sudden interest. We’ll have multiple sessions happening at any given time, so there will be something for everyone.
Presenters are encouraged to go light on the PowerPoint and heavy on attendee interaction and discussion—few people enjoy sitting through one dry lecture after another! Sessions will take a variety for formats, from presentations with Q&A to discussion panels to brainstorming groups.
Whether you’re a new Nerd or a seasoned veteran, you don’t want to miss this event!
NerdTech Weekend 2010 will be held at the Holiday Inn Cincinnati-Riverfront on October 22 and 23, 2010.”
Whether you’re a Nerd or not, we encourage you to read interact Nerds’ tweets and interact with us by searching for #ntw2010, though you may also find tweets using #nerdtech.
